Woodies on the Wharf
Logan and I had a really fun weekend! It started out nice with the fact that we bought a new Scion XB! It is white and cute and so fun to drive. Then Friday, we headed down to Santa Cruz for a car show called Woodies on the Wharf. Logan brought his down to display in the show. He got so many looks and people were just going "ga-ga" over his car. A lot of people came up to him and just vented about how much they liked his contraption. The guy next to us told Logan that he had strategically parked next to him because he knew a lot of people were going to be coming around to look at Logan's car, so he thought he would get in on the crowd. We met a lot of interesting people...a lady from Tennessee who took it upon herself to become my car show "mom" (she would keep putting blankets on me so I wouldn't get cold). Everyone was really nice and it was by far the best car show we have ever been to. Its good to see Logan getting recognition for all his hard work. We also stayed with my friend, Sara Newbold (she moved up there to go to school) and got to surf with her (I didn't surf, just took pictures and video). We also got to go to the boardwalk and ride the only two rides that I could go on-the merry go round and the sky taxis. We made it back here tonight just in time for Logan to start preparing his talk for tomorrow. We had such a good time and made some good friends! We hope to go back next year for a second dose of Santa Cruz!

You are so cute! I want to eat you!
I like that lady from Tennessee. See, we southern folk are very kind and hospitable. What a great weekend and great for Logan to hear some complitments.
I remember Matt Rabasco, my friend Amy's older brother, used to have that bumper sticker (50 isn't old if you're a tree) on his Volkswagon van. We always laughed at that. Awesome for Logan!
