Six Weeks Left!!!

I am so excited! I only have six weeks left until due date! But I have been fairly warned time and time again that he won't show up on time...fashionably late if you will. But if he knows whats best for his mother's sanity, he will try to either be on time or come a little early to help us out. A good friends of the family said recently, "I have never known a child who didn't come when he was good and ready to come." So with that in mind, I will wait patiently...tapping my foot...anticipating his arrival....counting down the seconds....ripping a piece of paper of the chain I made that counts down his arrival (yes I did it, so what? It was suprisingly very long)...impatiently.
I really didn't have much else to post about considering I am now home all by my lonesome since Logan went back to working at Professional Automobile Restoration. For so long I had the luxury of having my husband working at home and bugging him whenever I pleased. But now the time has come for me to find something else to do, and unfortunately for all of you who do read my blog, that is obsessively writing about my pending motherhood. Anyways, one last comment: second Lamaze class...much better in my opinion! Have a great week!

We had our first round of Lamaze class...

And it was so scary! At first they bring you into this really nice room with nice music playing and pictures displayed of happy mothers with their newly born infant, and you start to think to yourself, "Well this isn't so bad, child birth seems pleasant and quite euphoric!" Then they begin the presentation with some facts about labor and you then say, "Well, sounds painful, but honey, we'll be able to make it through this together!"

Oh, that's when they get you! Cuddled up all cozy and nice, they say, "Hey, lets watch a video!" I love videos! How am I supposed to oppose a video? BIG MISTAKE!

It starts out with just the good ol' simple computer graphics to show you the child's movement during labor, but then the real graphic stuff begins and all of a sudden, you are left with no exits in the room and only the mercy of your two hands to hide what you are now witnessing as they actually display babies being born and the intense "stretch" that accompanies it. Umm, why didn't they show this to me before I got pregnant? (Not to say that I wouldn't have a child still) But I am sure if you showed this to a bunch of under age girls, we would have a lot less teen pregnancies!

Anyways, needless to say, Lamaze class was an experience in and of itself and I can honestly say that I don't want a mirror when it comes time to deliver! I am really excited for the result of it all, but the process just seems so terrifying! I had dreams about it last night and I don't know if they will stop till he is born! I could even feel the pain in my dream!

Best Movie Ever!

I was really bored today while Logan was catching up on some work from when we went on vacation. After he finished with his work, I came up with a brilliant idea! And that was to go see the new Batman movie! I was expecting it to be good, but I didn't know that I was going to be blown away! Oh my goodness, this movie was THE BEST movie I have seen in a very very long time. Every part was just intriguing and kept you on the edge of your seat! I can normally predict most movies, but this one just kept blowing me away time and time again! So if you have time, go see The Dark Knight! Logan and I both loved it!

The Baby's Room Dilema

So for awhile, I was debating what I wanted to paint the baby's room. After several weeks of intent thought, I decided that I wanted to paint his room an electric green. A fine color, I know...but not the most sensible for a little room, or any room for that matter. As soon as Logan opened the can, I knew it was a bad choice, but I didn't want to seem naggy, so I let him go ahead with the electric green. With each wall, the color seemed to get brighter and brighter...Logan kept asking, "Are you sure you like this color? Because if not, I don't want to paint the whole thing!"
But of course, I said yes with much doubt in my mind. That night after we were in bed, I started crying saying, "I really don't like the color and I can't get it out of my mind...its haunting me!" Logan knew I wouldn't like it, but the problem was I couldn't go to sleep until we figured out an alternative...we finally decided to go with a more grayish blue (even though in one of the pictures it looks purple and in the other it looks teal).
But all in all, the room is turning out to very cute. I am still working every day to make it better! But for now I am pretty proud of the work. And I know I have such a great husband because he took the time to repaint it for me with the help of my inlaws! He sure does know how to make a girl happy! Also, I found this really cool painting on Pottery Barn Kids but it was like $180. So not wanting to spend that kinds of dough, I did it myself and it turned out okay! I had a fun time doing it as well.
I am going to add another canvas to the top to "complete" the tree as Logan would say!

Fun little Vacation

This last week, Logan, Kody (Logan's brother) and I drove down to San Diego to celebrate the 4th of July. We had a lot of fun going to the ward pancake breakfast, the Rush's beach party and watching fireworks with my mom and dad down in Santee. Last Saturday, my mom and Caitlin threw me a beautiful baby shower! We got tons of new clothes for Cache and my mom made an awesome diaper cake. I got to see a lot of good friends. You can see more pictures on my Mom's blog. Logan and Kody went surfing almost everyday and had a really fun time doing it. I even got to surf one day when we borrowed Mike Smith's 11ft board. Of course Logan had to push me into most of the waves, but at least I got to stand up and not sit out on the beach. Tanya's little kids stayed all week with us and we had so much fun swimming in the pool. We took Olivia to the Padre game...they lost, but it was cool to go down and see them! All in all, we had such a good time! Thanks Mom and Dad for letting us stay with you and putting up with us! We love having you down there!

New Car

We got a new car and we are so excited!!! It is so cute and I used to think they were really ugly, but not so much anymore! Logan decided to snap these photos just as I was heading off to the lake and so I thought I would share them with all of you! So anyways, enjoy the pictures!
