Christmas tree, oh christmas tree

Our Christmas tree was cut down at our friend's house and decorated by me, Jennilee. With what little room we have, it worked out rather well. Hey mom, Logan shaved his beard off, what do you think?

Cache has been doing this for awhile, but this was the most opportune time to actually film him.

P.S...Its Snowing

On our way to church, it started snowing...boo!

Sweaters and Mustaches

We attended the annual sweaters and mustache party held by Logan' friends. I decided that due to my disposition as a woman, that I must find a way in which I could have a mustache as well. Cache and I, although you might not believe this, had to draw ours on with eye-liner! There would be times that I didn't realize that I still had one on and others would look at me and then do a double take. So here's to Christmas and all its wonders!

Bob was helping his photography students take pictures of kids with Santa, so I took Cache down to see him. He was so cute!

We brought the egg nog!

Logan and I attended a friend's Christmas party and we had a good time. As a time honored tradition, Logan dressed in his finest apparel...his tights and Christmas sweater. If you've ever been to a Christmas party with Logan, you know this is nothing out of the ordinary. For kicks, I wore my sweater too (which made me look hideous and frumpy), but that's what Christmas sweaters do....Oh well!

Buffets and Cabins

We had a really fun weekend! We left Placerville Friday afternoon and headed to Tahoe. It's about a 40 minute drive from our house. We went to Harrah's to eat at the Forest room buffet. It was so good! We had crab legs, prime rib, shrimp, crepes, cheesecake, pineapple upsidedown cake, and chinese food...random, but it was all so good. Its really expensive to go, but Logan and I thought that we would treat ourselves (it's healthy every once in awhile). Then our friends, Dan and Tia, met us and let us stay at their cute little cabin. We played games all night and talked. In the morning, Tia made us scrumptrulescent pancakes. We had a good time and it felt like we really got away for the weekend even though it was just an hour away!

Look who's talking

Cache is starting to talk back to us at 10 weeks old. He is really funny...all you have to do to make him smile is just make a "Coo" noise at him and he is thrilled to talk back to you! Don't mind this video...its just some cuts from footage I took...anyways, enjoy!

My Father-in-law took family pictures of us the other day...he did an amazing job. We are so lucky to have so many photographers in the family who are so gifted. Hopefully there will be more photos to come so we can show some of them off. Here are Cache's latest stats:

Age: 2 months and 2 days
Height: 26 inches
Weight: 14 lbs!
Head: 16 in

Needless to say, he is in the 95 percentile for weight and height. He has been smiling so much! He has started to laugh a little, but we are still waiting for the giggling to start. I just took him down to San Diego (as I mentioned in the previous post) and we had such a fun time with my family. My niece Olivia tried to steal him when she came over for her Birthday. Other than Cache, the rest of our family has been good. I have been getting at least 8 hours or more of sleep every night and Logan has been working hard as usual (can''t sit still for the life of him). We are getting ready for Christmas here and are so excited to send out some Christmas cards!

Cache

Cache and I went down to Sand Diego this week to hang out with my family. For some of them, it was the first time they got to see him. We did a lot of fun things. We managed to get up to Temecula to take some shots with my sister, Tanya. She is working with one of her friends as an assitant, but she is also learning to shoot. She did an amazing job and we had a lot of fun! Thanks Tanya!

Happy Halloween...a few days ago

So I forgot to post these pictures from Halloween, well not forgot, but just got busy and couldn't find the time to do it yet. But anyways, my mom got Cache a little kitty hat with some cute striped socks for Halloween and he wore that on Friday. He had a hard time with the hat because his head was too big! Then we took him down to Sacramento to Logan's sister's house.

Our Nephew, Gavin went trick or treating with Logan (Logan was looking to scam some candy off him) and so we took Cache too! He was a Jack o' lantern. He was so cute! Gavin made sure to tell all his neighbors to look at "baby Cache as a pumpkin". Anyways, hope everyone had a good Halloween!

Two boys for every girl!

We just got back from Hawaii yesterday and we had such a fun time with my family! I am sad that I don't have many pictures of them, but I promise they were the best part of our vacation. It was awesome because my dad and sister, Caitlin got to see Cache for the very first time! He was so excited to meet his grandpa and aunt! We stayed at the Marriott time shares in Ko'Olina on the westside. It was so beautiful there! We stayed the first night with our friends, Dave and Sarah in Laie. We got to go surfing, swimming, we went to Pearl Harbor, ate snow cones and enjoyed family! Logan even got to go spear fishing with Dave one day. You will have to ask him about the funny story of spear fishing! We were sad to leave, but happy to get back to reality! We had a really bumpy flight home, but when we got to the airport, a lady on our flight got arrested for assaulting one of the flight attendents. Here are some pictures of our trip!

View from our room of the sunset on the clouds!

Caitlin and Cache! He peed all over her shirt...he was marking his territory!
My sister and I had a good time dressing Cache up while we were waiting for the pizzas. I peed my pants while we did this because he was being so cute and funny!

I think you can see Caitlin's reflection in the backround of this one!
My mom had knitted Caitlin a hat, but it didn't fit any of us, so we tried it on Cache, but it was too big!
This was taken at the Pali lookout. It is one of the windiest parts of the island.
Logan and I with our colored bands! Just to let you know I didn't even get a little bit tan on this trip! Kind of dissapointing, but whatever, I had fun!
Matsimotos...or however you spell that! The best cone on the island..so good, we had it twice!
Pupu's was breaking while we were there! Logan loved it! Its not very big in this picture, but the swell was starting to pick up!
Pearl Harbor...baby sleeping, it was really fun!
We only stayed for 5 seconds out on the memorial because frankly, you don't need 20 minutes to see everything! We just got off the boat and headed back with the previous tour! It was fun all in all!

Cache is asleep in many of these photos, that's pretty much what he did the whole time! Sorry I don't have more of my family! I really didn't take too many pictures to be honest! They are mostly of Cache! Logan thinks our blog is going to turn into just Cache, sooo maybe I should put more up of us! Besides, he is more interesting than us! Oh yeah, Cache smiled for the first time when we were boarding the plane to go to Hawaii! It was so awesome!!!

I'm happy!

Cache has started to smile! It makes you feel, as a parent, like you are doing something right! It's actually early for him to be smiling but we are thrilled. Anyways, we are having a fun time here in Hawaii!

Latest Sats

So we took Cache to the doctor the other day...well actually a week ago..it just gets so crazy busy sometimes, I don't have the chance to update sometimes...but anyways, he already grew 1 in (22 in), weighs now 9 lbs 12 oz and is growing right before my eyes. He has gotten heavier and so much longer. He is already starting to pick his head up. We put him on his tummy for a little while everyday so that he can stretch out and use his neck.

He is a lot of fun to have around. I have been taking him on walks twice a week in the morning and he is curious of everything around him. He rarely cries, only when he is hungry! We got ourselves a great baby, everyone compliments on how well he does with everything. I swear he came out already 2 months old. He sleeps through the night and wakes up only once to feed. Sorry all my posts have been about Cache, but he is pretty much all that is going on around here till next week when we go to Hawaii! Till then here is baby Cache just hanging out with me!
