Yeah! One of my best friends, Janelle Foster is coming home from her 18 month mission in Busan, Korea. She is going to be home on September 6th! Unfortunately, I probably won't be able to see her for awhile, but I am just so excited to talk to her and know that she is home! She left just a month before I got married so I was really sad that she couldn't be there! But she will be home just in time for Cache to be born! Anyways, I am so excited!

Oops! My bad!
I forgot to post these pictures from awhile ago that my Father-in-law, Bob, took of Logan and I! There is a lot more of them, but these are just two samples. They are really sweet and it was a lot of fun shooting with him even though it was very very hot! But hopefully we will get some more that we can show you!

False Alarm
Over the last couple of weeks, I have really begun to feel the approaching labor. First sign of evidence: the dropping or "lightening" of the baby. "Ok, Ok", you are saying to yourself, "but that doesn't mean the baby is coming right now!"...And your right, but then last week, I also began to clean like a maniac and setting up all the baby stuff with some outrageous boost of energy. "Sure that happens to us all, but that still doesn't mean the baby is coming right now!" you say again to yourself as you read this blog, trying to find the purpose behind what I am getting at.
Well what I am getting at here exactly is that I had my first fake labor alarm this last weekend and all these signs made me think, Wow! This really could be it.....NOT!!!!
So Friday, I went shopping with my mother-in-law here and there. As I was getting out of the car to head into the Dollar Store, I realized some sort of liquid had just burst out of me. I was kind of taken back, not really knowing what it was. I started to tell Carla about the liquid sensation in my pants and she bright eyed said, "Did your water break?" It dawned on me, maybe my water did break...so we finally got home and I decided to see if anything else was coming out and monitor it. For the rest of the day, sparatic spouts of liquid kept coming out. So I finally decided to call my mom to find out what I should do about it. She told me to call the advice nurse and see what they thought I should do. So I called and they told me to put on a panty liner for about an hour and then at the end check to see if it was full and what it smelled like.
So for the next hour, I sat and watched t.v. and sure enough, my panty liner was full and there was no odor to be found. I called back Kaiser and they instantly told me to come in and get checked. So Logan and I packed the rest of our bag and headed on down the hill. By this time, it was already 10 pm and I was pretty tired. We made it to the hospital at around 11 pm and they got me all set up on the monitors to measure our vitals. We sat and listened to the beating of Cache's heart and watched the monitor spike as each contraction (which I have been having the past couple of weeks) came about. After about 20 minutes, 3 women: the doctor, the nurse and the med school student all came in to check to see if my water had truly broken. Sure enough, my waters were fully in tact with 0 effacement and no hint of dialation at all!!! How embarrassing, right? The most embarrassing part is....
I WAS PEEING MY PANTS THE WHOLE DAY!!! Yep, that's right...what I thought was labor was really just me, a sorry old spaz, not knowing how to control her bladder, trickling her pants all day and thinking she was going to start labor. Apparently I was just very well hydrated!
Well when Logan heard that, he just started laughing. We headed home and got there around 2 am, hit the hay and didn't wake up till 11 the following morning. I guess I have come to the conclusion that everyone must go through the false labor or at least that's what I am going to tell myself so I don't feel so stupid for rushing to the hospital only to find out that I was just peeing my pants. We've decided that we aren't going to go to the hospital until I have unbearable contractions. Oh well, at least I have a funny story to post on my blog!

I'm Clean
And so is my house!!! I just finished cleaning and it feels so good. Our apartment never really gets that dirty because its pretty small, but I was feeling cluttered and just needed some cleaning here and there. So finally got the energy up enough to go full force! I don't know if that's part of nesting, but I was only doing what needed to be done. Plus I didn't have much to do after I finished Breaking Dawn in like a day! Here are some pictures of my clean house....I really only am showing the family room and bathroom, because our house really isn't put together all that well because we still have to paint and get our kitchen in and plus you've already seen babe's room, no need to show again!
This is our small bathroom! Clean finally! But we had to put a green towel down because unfortunately its being a little leaky!
And this is our family/living room...everything dusted, mopped and clean. I know no one really cares if my house is clean, but this is a big accomplishment for me, so bear with it!
