In June over Father's Day Weekend, we went to the Bluegrass Festival.  We love to go with the Bob and Carla.  Logan is really good at the guitar and he enjoys to go late at night and pick with all the other attendees.  Cache really enjoyed hanging out with his cousin, Gavin.  They fought...a lot, but when we separated them, all they wanted to do was play with one another.

Cache even brought his little ukelele.  Gavin and him kept singing, "Baby Baby" by Justin Bieber the whole time.  

Velzy did really well sleeping during the day and at night.  She was little hard to have there, but it was fun...she was just at that age where she wanted to crawl around.  

It was a lot of fun regardless and we cannot wait to go again!

Memorial day at the beach

For memorial day, we went to the beach to have some fun with our friends.  It was a lot of fun.  The waves weren't that great, but Logan always manages to have a little fun here and there.  Cache hung out with his friend, Mia.  He adores her.  Velzy ate a lot of sand that day.  But I will tell you what, that girl loves the beach!

Diaper Train

These are also from a few months back...but they were being so funny!  We like trains at our house, so any opportunity we get to play trains, we do...including when we have empty diaper boxes.  My favorite is the one of Cache picking his nose in the backround.

Easter

We had a really fun easter at home, watching conference.  Cache got lots of candy and toys.  Logan got a lot of candy as well...too much candy around our house for too long.  I know it was a long time ago, but I feel like I should use all of my pictures I have been hoarding over the last few months!

I feel like I might want to blog again...so here it goes

Lately

I haven't wanted to be part of the blog world.  I mean I check out other people's blogs...rarely.  I've been taking pictures...every once in awhile.  

But for those of you who actually read this, I will get my grove back...one day.

For now, I am just enjoying my family and the time I get to spend with them.

6 Months

My girl is 6 months old, can you believe it?

I hardly can.  She is one awesome little tike.  I like having her around.

She weighs in at 19 lbs, 27 inches long, and has a medium head size...basically she is pretty proportionate.  

So far she is so close to crawling, she gets up on her knees and rocks till she leaps forward.  She sits up really well and is the most cheesiest baby you have ever met.  I swear you look at her and she smiles back.  She can stick her tongue out at you if prompted.  

Her hair is beginning to grow in blonde and she has beautiful blue eyes to go with it.  I am in love with her personality and how sweet she is. She is not as gentle as Cache was at this age, but she gets excited about everything.  She loves the water and recently she really likes dogs.  

It is amazing how children can be so different.  Cache is very cuddly and sensitive, while Velzy is not very cuddly or sensitive.  I cannot wait to see what kind of trouble she will get herself into.
