On Saturday, Logan and I headed first up to Mavericks in Half Moon Bay where there was a giant surf contest. The waves were 25 feet and there were so many people there. We had to walked about 3 miles just to get to the beach and then another 3 to get back to our car. We really couldn't see much to be quite honest, but the experience was enough to prepare us for next year. We then went down to Santa Cruz. We are hoping one day to settle near there, so we thought we might take a little trip to check it out. I loved it so much there!!! It was so beautiful and so little. I really enjoyed hanging out along the streets of downtown. We even went up into the mountains and found ourselves a Big Foot Museum. The man that worked there told us many stories of Big Foot sitings around the area. We also got to have dinner with Sara Newbold because she was visiting a friend. So all in all, we had a good weekend. If any of you ever decide to go to Santa Cruz, drive 20 minutes into the Santa Cruz mountains and you will find a little secret that Santa Cruz has to offer-the big foot exhibit. I don't regret going in!

Love the sunglasses!
My grandparents live in the Santa Cruz mountains and they are amazing! I love it there also. So happy you had a fun trip.
Jennilee!! I think I may be going to visit Momma and Poppa Sutherland in Santa Cruz in March... around Fri 21 - Weds 26. We'll probably be in Napa on the weekend. I just wanted to give you a heads up - maybe we can meet up? And I'm probably bringing the BF too. I'll keep you posted. Congrats again :)
