Erin and Kody

We had so much fun this last weekend.  

Logan's brother and his lovely girlfriend, Erin came to visit us.  We did so much I don't even remember.  

We went to the zoo, the Padres game (even though we got rained out), the beach, Extraordinary Desserts, and so many other places to eat.  Kody and Erin were nice to have around just for the baby loving in and of itself, but add on party animals--and you've got one awesome weekend.

Cache was sad to say bye bye to his uncle and Erin, but hopefully we can see them again really soon!

Conference

One of the things that hit me the most in Conference this weekend was a statement by the prophet, Thomas S. Monson when he stated that we should have a picture of the temple in every room of our house so that our children might be influenced throughout their lives to attend it.  I think that is something that I want to work on: getting a picture of the temple in every room of the house so that we might be surrounded by them and always remember to live worthy to enter it.  Also, to help make the home a temple, safe from the influences of the world.

I loved many of the talks this weekend.  I am always grateful to hear the messages of our modern prophets.  When I listen to them, I have no doubts of the truthfulness of their words.

Friends and Fun

Today I went to the beach/bay with some pals.

The weather was so beautiful...almost 90 degrees.

Anyways, we got to play with some awesome munchkins.  We love having so many new and fun friends.

Cache was a little afraid of the water and to take off his shirt (that was a battle). 

But later, he warmed up to the idea and finally took it off.  I can't wait to play more at the beach and to start surfing more this summer.  Booo for me not surfing!
